CALL ANALYSIS
AI Call Analysis for Personal Injury Intake
Every intake call carries the facts your firm needs to qualify the lead — but only if those facts make it out of the call and into a structured form. Valryn transcribes, analyzes, and extracts the case data in real time, so attorneys see qualified leads instead of raw call notes.
What the AI extracts from every call
Real-time transcription
Every word captured with speaker labels (caller vs intake agent) as the call happens. Searchable across the full conversation history once the call ends.
Incident facts
Date, time, location (city + state, resolved to county automatically), case type, mechanism of injury, witnesses, and police report status — extracted into structured fields ready for scoring.
Injury and treatment
Injury severity, body regions affected, ER visit and hospitalization status, ongoing treatment, surgical intervention, and pre-existing conditions disclosed.
Insurance and defendant signals
Defendant identity, carrier (when known), commercial vs personal coverage indicators, and policy-limit signals captured during the call.
Liability and red flags
Liability strength signals (rear-end, DUI, clear fault), red-flag patterns (treatment gaps, social-media inconsistencies, prior injuries) flagged for follow-up.
Sentiment and tone
Sentiment tracked per turn — useful for identifying frustrated callers who may churn before the attorney call, or callers who escalate quickly.
How a call gets analyzed
Call connects
Inbound calls hit the AI receptionist; outbound calls dial leads back within seconds of form submission. Recording disclosure is part of the script for compliance in two-party-consent states.
Real-time transcription
Voice → text with speaker labels happens live. Latency is low enough that the transcript is searchable seconds after the call ends.
Structured extraction during the call
As the conversation progresses, the AI fills in case fact fields — incident date, location, injuries, defendant, insurance — without waiting for the call to finish.
Sentiment and tone tracking
Per-turn sentiment lets your team see escalation patterns and prioritize follow-up for callers showing frustration or hesitation.
Routed to case intelligence
Once the call ends, structured facts and the summary feed the case scoring engine. The case is scored against comparable verdicts and assigned a tier within minutes.
Multilingual, consent-aware, audit-logged
Multilingual
English + Spanish on Professional. Multilingual on Enterprise (additional languages available as add-ons on lower tiers). The AI detects the caller's language and responds in kind.
Consent-aware recording
Recording disclosure is built into the AI receptionist script — required in two-party-consent states (CA, FL, IL, MD, MA, MT, NH, PA, WA). One-party-consent states proceed without explicit caller acknowledgment.
Encryption in transit and at rest
TLS 1.3 for transmission. AES-256 at rest. Recordings and transcripts stored under your firm's tenant with row-level security enforcing isolation.
5-year recording retention on every plan
Every plan — Basic, Professional, and Enterprise — retains recordings for 5 years to satisfy state bar file-retention rules (CA/PA/TX = 5y, FL = 6y, NY/NJ = 7y). Firms operating in NY or NJ can request a 7-year override. Recordings can be exported, placed on legal hold, or deleted on request.
Audit logging
Every recording access — listen, download, share — logged with user, timestamp, and IP. Audit trails available for compliance reviews.
Powered by Retell AI + Valryn extraction
The voice layer runs on Retell AI for low-latency speech, and extraction runs through Valryn's case-type-specific prompts and field schemas. Calls flow into the case intelligence engine for scoring against comparable verdicts — so by the time an attorney opens the case, it's already triaged, scored, and tiered.
